Executive Leadership

Jeff Fay, CEO and President, Co-Founder

Jeff Fay has been professionally researching and testing information technology and network security for almost ten years and is a respected authority on cryptography and vulnerability analysis.  As President and CEO Jeff provides vision and direction for the company as well as oversees all technical innovations and product development.

Over the past seven years Jeff has discovered numerous vulnerabilities and has built the vulnerability assessment toolkit currently used by PatchAdvisor for its assessments.  Spending most of his time in the field performing assessments for Fortune 500 companies, the Federal Government and abroad, Jeff has a unique understanding of network vulnerabilities and founded PatchAdvisor in 2003 to fill the growing need he saw for expert vulnerability intelligence in the marketplace.

Jeff has written many papers on network security and cryptography and has been interviewed on the topics of network security and information warfare by CNN, Fox News and 60 Minutes.

Trey Wadsworth, Vice President, Co-founder

Trey Wadsworth has a unique background that blends experience in both the financial and technology sectors.  Trey is responsible for all financial and legal matters for the company as well as customer acquisition and revenue generation.

Before founding PatchAdvisor, Trey worked for a Northern Virginia based Security Intelligence Services company where he was involved in improving the process control and management of financial and operational modeling, cash management, treasury, business development, sales and customer service functions.

Trey also has extensive experience with investment banking and has worked on Wall Street in New York City. 

Vicky Ames, Vice President Operations

Vicky Ames has been in the IT industry for over a decade and brings with her a wealth of experience from private industry and the Federal government.  Vicky is responsible for customer service and support as well as the day-to-day operations of PatchAdvisor.

Prior to joining PatchAdvisor, Vicky served as an Information Systems Security Officer at the National Institutes of Health where she developed and managed a comprehensive security program.  She also provided security engineering support and technology leadership at Network Associates and Qwest communications.

Vicky holds CISSP and SANS GSEC certifications.
